If you're re-entering the Temple, simple head in, down the slope, and straight on through the corridor that juts off to the right from the entrance hall until you reach the first small, circular room.

If you're getting it mid quest, it's through two doors after you wake up, and then a small vent-like tunnel you have to crouch to get through, that's on your right. Power Cell location 2: All-Mother Temple - You can access this either during or at any time after the quest Womb of the Mountain, after the Proving. It's about three quarters of the way through the Ruins, and Aloy will give you a little dialogue wondering if she can somehow get through now she's older when you get close. The Power Cell is located the other side of some stalactites and stalacmites - you can see it through them, but need to smash them with your Lance to get through. We suggest you drop right down to the lowest level when re-entering, and running through it in the same order as you did with young Aloy at the start of the game. It's easy to get caught going in circles through this cavern, especially as you can re-enter it on a different level. Head back to the location of your first steps with Aloy, which is marked as Ruins on your map with a green symbol, just east of Mother's Watch.

Power Cell location 1: Underground Bunker from the Prologue - You can get this one as soon as you have control of adult Aloy and free roam of the environment, after the Prologue-style mission, A Gift from the Past, with her as a child. Here's where to find them, but do note that there will be some minor spoilers below, in terms of location names at the very least, as all of these locations are visited at some point along the way during main story quests: That being said, some are available very early on in the game - early enough, even, to get through the first of two puzzle locks that guard the Shield Weave armour after just a few hours of play - but that still won't get you the armour itself. There are five Power Cells in Horizon Zero Dawn, and you'll need to get a fair way through the main story in order to collect them all. The Power Cell sits on a shelf to the right at the very back.Watch on YouTube Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cell locations There are hidden handholds leading up to a hidden-in-plain-sight area where you will find a purple-lit hallway. Instead of rappelling down, go to the left of the rappel point and carefully move to the edge of the cliff. The final Power Cell can be found during the quest "The Mountain That Fell" at the GAIA Prime ruins. You will need to pass this cell to get to the next part of the facility, so it is perhaps the most difficult one to miss. Once you have restored power to the Ancient Door and gone through it, look around until you spot a green diamond, indicating the hidden Power Cell. The fourth cell is in the Grave-Hoard, where you will go to as part of the "Grave-Hoard" main storyline quest. Use the rappel point to return to Ted Faro's office and continue the quest. Follow these to the top and find the Power Cell there. Once there, instead of following the quest objective and examining the data storage system, turn around and find the yellow handholds leading up the ruined sky scraper. Climb all the way to the top of the ruins to Ted Faro's office. The third cell is in the Maker's End ruin, which you will visit as part of the "Maker's End" main quest. Related: Four PlayStation Games That Deserve Director's Cuts If this Cell is not obtained during the "Womb of the Mountain" quest, it will not be accessible again until the main quest, "The Heart of the Nora," as the gate to Mother's Watch will be closed and All-Mother cannot be entered until then. However, since one of the cells cannot be obtained until that quest anyway, this doesn't make much difference overall. Look to the left, crawl down a tunnel lit with candles, and you will find the Cell in the room at the end. After "The Proving" quest, you will end up here at the beginning of the main quest, "The Womb of the Mountain." Instead of following Teersa to the left, go straight out of the room where you get your equipment back until you find a locked red door. The second Power Cell is in All-Mother Mountain. Simply smash these with your spear, and you will find the Power Cell on a table at the back of the room. Afterwards, there will be another doorway which is blocked by stalactites. Eventually, you will come to a locked door that must be pried open with your spear.

Return to the ruins near Mother's Watch and make your way through them. This location is within The Embrace that players start in, and it can be revisited at any time during the game. One Power Cell is found in the underground facility that Aloy fell into as a child.
